WIND ON THE HILL was away alertly and dueled for the lead along the inside, battled gamely through a prolonged drive and was fully extended to narrowly prevail. NEVER FORGET settled in hand, came four wide to make his bid, finished willingly and was getting to the winner late. ULAH TYSON rushed up to duel for the lead two wide, weakened slightly following a long drive but had enough left to just hold the show. SEEKING SHELTER was allowed to settle and angled in to save ground, got through entering the stretch, loomed a danger but flattened out in the final yards. PATRONISE attended the pace off of the inside, launched his bid from between horses but lacked the needed late response. CHAFFEE JOHN was hustled along four wide in the second flight, finished with a belated gain but failed to threaten. HUMOR AT LAST settled in the second flight three wide and failed to respond. FRONT COURT was always outrun. BROTHER RON was bumped at the start and slow into stride, and trailed thereafter. |
