Race Summary
LAVENHAM was well placed early, angled into the four path in the turn then rallied in the stretch and drew off late under a steady drive. H. M. S. HESTER was back early, angled into the five path in the turn then got up for place late. YESSHESAROCKET stalked the pace early, angled into the three path in the turn then made a bid in the stretch but weakened late in the drive. SNOWBUD set the pace early, angled off the rail in the turn and faltered late in the stretch drive. ALEXIS GIRL tracked the pace early from the inside, stayed on the rail in the turn but couldn't sustain the bid in the stretch run. CASAKABE ran off in the post parade, was back early, angled into the four path in the turn while no threat late. SPRING CATCH was never a factor. PREACHER'S TALE showed little. ALYDAR'S SPIRIT was never involved. SWEET SIDE UP was done early. LOW STRIKE ZONE was always outrun. EMOTIONAL RELEASE showed brief speed then stopped.
